Dr. Spencer has always known she wanted to be a veterinarian ever since she was a kid. Growing up, her house had no shortage of pets that she convinced her parents to adopt: birds, turtles, fish, snakes, lizards, dogs, cats… you name it, she had them!
She received a bachelor’s degree in animal science at the University of Connecticut. She graduated from veterinary school at the University of Florida and has developed a love of urgent care, especially since moving to Austin. She realizes the hardships that most pet parents face when their fur babies have an illness that needs to be seen, and unfortunately, their primary vet is either closed or not able to take them in that day. She is here for you and your pet when you need it most.
When she is not working as a veterinarian, Dr. Spencer loves hiking with her rescue dog Madison. She also loves paddleboarding on the beautiful lakes in Austin, playing golf, as well as sampling foods from all the great restaurants Austin has to offer.
